How should I prepare for a session?

Your time here is meant to be a pause—a chance to slow down and reconnect with yourself. To help you get the most out of your session, here are a few gentle suggestions:

Stay hydrated and arrive with a willingness to receive bodywork. Lymphatic work can move fluid out of your body so please be sure to hydrate afterwards.

Arrive nourished. Eat a light snack beforehand as your body needs energy to repair.

Take a moment for a breath. To disconnect from the busyness and allow yourself to shift into a place of peace.

Please also keep in mind that the practitioner and client are in close quarters- we ask that you keep hygiene and strong scents in mind as we share space together.

When should I arrive?

To reduce wait time please arrive around 10 minutes prior to your session start time. We are in a shared building and the doors remain locked until they are opened by a practitioner. Please text 412-935-9108 if the doors are locked upon arrival.

Where can I park?

You can park along Butler Street or any side street that doesn’t block driveways.

What is accessibility like?

The massage studio is located on the second story. There is a grand set of stairs up to the second story. There is an alternative entrance at the back of the building with fewer stairs. This is on Dresden Way. It is currently not ADA accessible. Please reach out if you need special accomodations.

What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens! Please get in touch with as soon as you know that you can’t make it to your appointment. We strive to be lenient but default to the following policy if there have not been efforts to change or cancel your appointment. We will charge 50% within 48 hours of appointment time and 100% within 24hours. This serves to protect the practitioner’s time and finances. If you are feeling sick please reschedule your appointment.
